Chantal Wu joined the CoStar Group as senior director of hospitality market analytics covering the Southeast U.S. region. Before joining CoStar, Wu was vice president of investments and development at Auro Hotels, where she was responsible for sourcing and underwriting acquisition targets, managing ground-up developments, analyzing the existing portfolio to identify conversion, disposition and value enhancement opportunities, and asset managing non-hospitality assets the company owned.
Prior to Auro Hotels, Wu worked for Davidson Hospitality Group as director of operations strategy, reporting and analytics. Before joining Davidson, Wu was part of the Investment Analysis team at IHG, where she underwrote upscale-and-above brands across the Americas region, specializing in the top 25 U.S. markets and Latin America. She also spent time as a feasibility consultant with PKF Consulting, now a part of CBRE.
Wu graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Master of Management in Hospitality from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Originally from Beijing, China, Wu currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and their 7-year-old daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding and spending time with family.
