In a joint press release issued today, the Action Logement group and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) announced a €24 billion financing partnership in the form of loans, via Banque des Territoires.
These loans, financed in part by the money in French people's Livret A savings accounts, will be used to build 200,000 new housing units and rehabilitate 200,000 housing units in Action Logement's portfolio, between now and 2027.
