Toulouse reinvents its Grand Matabiau quais d'Oc district

As part of a vast urban redevelopment project in Toulouse, a new district is being built around the Toulouse Matabiau train station. The project, which aims to transform an aging neighborhood, includes the construction of around 3,000 additional housing units, 200,000 m² of office space and 30,000 m² of commercial space. Green spaces and public amenities will also be created. The station itself is being adapted to accommodate three times as many passengers. The cost of public amenities is estimated at around €90 million, and the project will be spread over 25 years.
