The SCPI market has entered an "ice age, even a nuclear age", warned Frédéric Puzin, Chairman and Founder of the Corum Group, last week, as he delivered what he himself described as a "rant" against "a whole host of bad practices that have led to a loss of substance and savings for SCPI customers". The cause is a crisis of investor confidence, caused in particular by the large backlog of units held by the market leaders, which is squeezing inflows at a time when market opportunities abound.
