The Poitiers Commercial Court has sounded the death knell for the Naos hotel group and its portfolio of Hilton and Marriott hotels in France, which founder, manager and shareholder Pascal Lemarchand had skilfully built up over 17 years. The Poitou-based company, which had been in receivership since September 2023, has seen its network broken up and its 13 upscale hotels (1,678 rooms) go into different hands, following a search for buyers that had attracted the interest of numerous investors and hotel groups. Thirteen bids were submitted in the first round.
