The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier project, located in the new HafenCity district of Hamburg, Germany, stands as an example of urban regeneration. Estimated to cost around €2.5 billion, the project, built on the site of a former gasworks, aims to expand the city of Hamburg and create a new, sustainable heart of the city. The development covers a total surface area of 419,000 m² in 13 buildings, on a 67,000 m² site.
