Flexible workspace and meeting rooms operator Clockwise Offices has hired a former director from The Instant Group to lead its acquisitions team.

Mark Dansky left The Instant Group in May after around a year and a half to join Clockwise, where he will be leading the search and agreement of additional operations around the UK and in Europe.

The firm has said it is looking to expand in the UK by nearly 50,000 square feet to meeting rising demand, while it has ambitions to grow its European footprint to almost a quarter of a million square feet over the next three years.

Clockwise offices operates flex accommodation in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast, along with eight other UK locations. The company launched from Glasgow in 2017 and has sites in Antwerp, Brussels, Bremen and The Hague.

Before joining The Instant Group, Dansky spent time at investment management firm Innovo Reim and agency Allsop, where he was a partner, according to his LinkedIn profile. He said in a post: "[I'm] delighted to announce my new role as head of acquisitions at Clockwise Offices.

"I’ll be spearheading the identification and securing of new operations across the UK and Europe, contributing to our mission of creating dynamic and innovative workspaces.

"A thank you to my incredible former colleagues at The Instant Group for an amazing journey. I look forward to future collaborations and continuing to build on our shared successes."

The firm is lead by its chief operating officer Alexandra Livesey, who has worked for hotel operators, such as Jurys Inn and the owner of Premier Inn, Whitbread.
