Property professionals will meet next month to champion LGBTQIA+ inclusion across real estate at the third Pride in Property fundraising event at London's One Ninety Four Piccadilly.

The event, which launched in 2024, aims to raise awareness, deepen understanding and drive tangible impact across real estate, with previous editions welcoming more than 1,000 attendees.

This year's meeting is set to take place on 4 June and will include a programme of inclusive and celebratory entertainment, hosted by leading drag performers Aeliana and Luna, known as The IT Twinz, with additional acts to be announced.

Industry names, including Berkeley Group, British Land, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, CWG, Grosvenor, JLL, Knight Frank, Lendlease, Related Argent, Savills and The Crown Estate, have joined the initiative as partners. Freehold LGBT+ returns as network partner, with LCA as communications partner.

Laura Sears, pride network chair at British Land and co-chair of the event, said: "Pride in Property represents a genuine milestone for our industry, made possible by the partnerships and shared commitment behind it.

"Bringing organisations together in this way helps amplify voices, share best practice and drive real progress, reinforcing the role our sector can play in creating more inclusive, welcoming places for all."

All proceeds from the event will go to charity. This year it is supporting Switchboard, a UK volunteer-led national helpline that offers support and information to LGBTQIA+ individuals on issues including sexuality, gender identity, mental health and discrimination.

The charity handles more than 17,000 conversations every year, with its team comprising 400 volunteers, all identifying within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Andrew Kincaid, EMEA transitions lead, CBRE, said: "Our sponsorship of Pride in Property reflects our commitment to creating a workplace, and an industry, where LGBTQIA+ people feel safe, respected and able to thrive.

"Inclusion for us goes beyond visibility; it means zero tolerance for discrimination, genuine psychological safety, and the confidence to be open at work. We believe diversity and equity are fundamental to strong business performance and to reflecting the communities we serve.

"By supporting this event, we aim to challenge systemic barriers, champion LGBTQIA+ inclusion and drive lasting, positive change across the real estate sector."

Gus Jaspert, managing director, marine for The Crown Estate, added: "I’m proud that we’re once again supporting the Pride in Property event to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community. This event is a fantastic opportunity to promote cross-industry collaboration and partnerships and create a space where people feel safe to be themselves.

"Our sector is at its best when it’s diverse, open and inclusive, and events like this play an important role in making that a reality. By being visible allies and backing organisations doing great work, we can help build more inclusive workplaces and support the LGBTQIA+ community to thrive across the property industry."
