Paris La Défense welcomes "Les Extatiques" exhibition to its forecourt

Home to Europe's largest open-air museum (with some 50 works), Paris La Défense is hosting "Les Extatiques", an ephemeral contemporary art exhibition, from February 2 to 25, 2024, this time in its basement, beneath its forecourt. Monumental installations, photo series, paintings, sculptures, projections, digital and kinetic works by some twenty artists unfold in some 5,000 m² of underground space, under the gaze of a public keen on urban exploration. These works, which play with volumes and spaces dubbed the "Cathedral" by insiders, evoke the power of nature regaining its rights in forgotten places. The tour, guided by a mediator, ends with the discovery of the hidden work of Paris La Défense, Raymond Moretti's "monster and studio".
