Piasa Auction: Cat-Berro Collection, 40 years of design

The Piasa auction house is organizing the sale of Francis Cat-Berro's design collection on April 5. Featuring 163 lots, this sale expresses the taste of a collector who was also a cabinetmaker, publisher and gallery owner. At the same time, it reflects the spirit of an era, from the 1980s to the 2000s. The catalog features pieces of furniture, lighting and decorative objects signed by the great design figures of this generation: Garouste & Bonetti, Pucci de Rossi, Martin Szekely, Éric Schmitt, Olivier Gagnère... Active for 40 years, Francis Cat-Berro was also the discoverer of young talent - Constance Guisset, Laurent Corio, Gaëlle Gabilet... - emerging at the turn of the 21st century.
