European Central Bank lowers key rates further

The interest rate on the deposit facility to be 3.25% from October 23

Taking the view that "available information on inflation confirms that the disinflation process is on track," the Governing Council of the European Central Bank has lowered its three key interest rates by 25 basis points. From Oct. 23, the interest rate on the deposit facility, through which the ECB steers its monetary policy, will thus be reduced to 3.25%.
