ORY.architecture's DNA is the rehabilitation of existing buildings. The adventure began in 1979 when Jean-Jacques Ory founded Studios d'architecture Jean-Jacques Ory, and his first project was to transform the Le Parisien Libéré building. A forerunner at the time. His structure went on to include such landmark projects as the restructuring of the Crédit Lyonnais head office, the Plaza Athénée hotel and the Kenzo Building. In 2018, this adventure continues with a new tandem at the head of the agency (which then became ORY.architecture), Samantha Groh, as president, and Rahim Rezzouk, as general manager, to whom the architect has given the reins. "This handover began in 2015. It's been a real journey during which there have been a lot of exchanges, and we've taken our time. Jean-Jacques Ory shared with us his taste and know-how for rehabilitation", explains the tandem.
