As part of a sale & leaseback, UK investment company Supermarket Income REIT acquired a portfolio of 17 Carrefour supermarkets in France for a total purchase price of €75.3m (excluding acquisition costs), reflecting a net initial yield of 6.3%. The stores, which are geographically diversified with a weighting in northern France and operated under the Carrefour Market banner, have an average gross interior surface area of around 3,715 m².
