Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo has opened a 2,164 m² flagship store at 15-17, rue Scribe, Paris 9e. Over three floors, the store will showcase the brand's men's, women's and children's collections, as well as a selection of products for the home. The CDEC has been obtained, and the store is scheduled to open in the4th quarter of 2009. The transaction, the amount of which was not disclosed, was carried out by CB Richard Ellis, counsel to the lessee, and Knight Frank, counsel to Generali, the lessor. " Our objective in France is to open around 20 stores within the next 10 years, including five in Paris and five in the Paris region. Our long-term ambition is to be represented in all European capitals ", explains Marlyse Megelas, Uniqlo's real estate director.
The brand has also announced the opening of a corner at Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann, from April 14 to May 17.
