Moira Ritter is an award-winning staff writer for Homes.com, covering the California housing market with a passion for finding ways to connect real estate with readers' everyday lives. She earned recognition from the National Association of Real Estate Editors for her reporting on Hurricane Helene's aftermath in North Carolina. Though she's a 20-something who has never owned a house, Moira regularly daydreams about her future home: A big house that looks like it's straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie. Moira was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She most recently settled in Los Angeles.
