Forest City Promotes Senior Execs to Top-Tier Positions

Firm Taps Charles Ratner as Chairman, David LaRue as President and CEO

Forest City Enterprises (NYSE: FCEA and FCEB), a national real estate company headquartered in Cleveland, promoted two executives to top level positions. Charles A. Ratner will replace current co-chairmen Albert B. Ratner and Samuel H. Miller as chairman, while David J. LaRue will assume Ratner's position as president and CEO. Ratner and Miller have each been named co-chairman emeritus. The planned leadership succession will take effect June 10, 2011.
