Unispace, the workplace strategy, design and construction specialist, has hired former senior CBRE figure Paul Saville-King as group chief executive.
Saville-King, who started at the beginning of this month, held a series of senior roles at CBRE, most recently as chief product officer of global workplace solutions for three years.
Before that he was global president of project management. In those roles he was responsible for leading more than 10,000 professionals globally.
He also served as chief transition officer for CBRE’s strategic investment in contractor Turner & Townsend between 2021-2023. Earlier in his career he served on the board of Norland Managed Services and spent 17 years in technical operations and leadership roles at tech firm Honeywell.
Unispace said he will focus on "strengthening [its] integrated global delivery model, deepening sector partnerships, and supporting clients as they navigate changing real estate conditions across global markets".
Jodi Ingham, managing director at PAG, the multinational private equity firm that acquired Unispace in 2021, said in a statement: "Paul brings the right mix of industry, global and leadership experience for where Unispace is heading.
"We see this appointment as an important step in strengthening the business and supporting its next phase of growth."
Saville-King added: "The importance of the workplace is fundamentally changing. Unispace is one of very few companies globally that can genuinely integrate strategy, design and build to create workplaces that drive organisational performance, not just house people."
