SRS expands industrial team; NAI Hiffman names finance chief; KSR adds four directors

SRS Real Estate Partners said Mike Erwin, Tucker Hohenstein and Hank Jenkins joined the brokerage as it seeks to expand its Southern California industrial-focused services. The veteran three-member team, formerly with Colliers, is based in SRS' San Diego-area office.

Dallas-based SRS said Erwin joined the firm as an executive vice president, bringing 28 years of experience that also included work as a bank regulator. Hohenstein also joined SRS as an executive vice president after 35 years that included serving in senior roles at Cushman & Wakefield, Burnham Real Estate Co. and Grubb & Ellis. Jenkins, who has experience in the San Diego industrial market, joined SRS as a vice president.

Real estate services firm NAI Hiffman and its property management division, Hiffman National, announced the appointment of Puja Doshi as chief financial officer for both entities. Based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, Doshi joined the firm from JLL, where she served for 14 years in executive finance roles after earlier work at Equity Residential and PwC.

KSR, known more formally as Kassin Sabbagh Realty, named industry veterans Mark Seruya as senior managing director for capital markets and Sam Sabin and Abie Dwek as senior directors for retail leasing. The New York-based firm said it also hired Greg Rogers as director of operations. Seruya will oversee financing for transactions across the tristate region and Florida, KSR said. Sabin joined KSR after prior work with Thor Equities, and Dwek held earlier leadership roles at Phillwood Holdings, Revive Hospitality Group and Cushman & Wakefield.

St. John Properties promoted Eric Llewellyn to director of retail leasing after he previously served as its senior retail leasing representative. The Baltimore-based development and management company, with a national portfolio valued at more than $5 billion, said Llewellyn joined the firm in 2018 and has more than 11 years of retail leasing and marketing experience. That includes prior work at Kimco Realty.

CareTrust REIT, a healthcare-focused real estate investment trust, announced several executive promotions and new hires as it expands its national portfolio. The Dana Point, California-based firm said it promoted Derek Bunker to chief financial officer, Joe Layne to senior vice president and corporate counsel, and Rory Williams to senior vice president of portfolio management. CareTrust also hired Kyle Bennion as senior vice president of investments and transactions counsel.

LevRose Commercial Real Estate added former pro baseball pitcher Joe Jones as an adviser based at its office in Scottsdale, Arizona, as it looks to expand its industrial-focused practice in Arizona. Before joining LevRose, Jones spent nine seasons playing baseball for organizations including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

EastGroup Properties said it made several leadership promotions as part of efforts to grow its industrial property portfolio in states including Texas, Florida, California, Arizona and North Carolina. The Jackson, Mississippi-based real estate investment trust named Reid Dunbar president, Staci Tyler chief financial officer, Brent Wood chief operating officer and Michelle Rayner chief accounting officer.

National real estate law firm Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP elected Scott Laes and Jamie Sprague as partners, effective Jan. 1. Laes and Sprague have several years of litigation experience in commercial real estate, construction, land use and related areas. Laes is based in Los Angeles, and Sprague is based in Irvine, California.
