CIM Group said Moshe Bajnon joined the real estate investment and development firm as president and co-head of its global client group. Jason Fisher will take on expanded responsibilities after also being named president and co-head of the global client group, the Los Angeles-based company said. Bajnon and Fisher will seek to expand business through its wealth management and institutional channels, working with a team of 75 professionals.
Based in New York City, Bajnon joined CIM from Nuveen Private Capital, where he served as a senior managing director and global head of private wealth. He also co-headed Nuveen’s investor services group and, before that, held senior roles at Ares Management, Trian Partners and Morgan Stanley. Fisher, based in Los Angeles, has led CIM’s institutional client group since joining the firm in 2023 from BlackRock.
Newmark expanded its multifamily investment sales team in Atlanta with the hiring of industry veteran James Wilber as a senior managing director. Wilber has experience advising institutional investors, owners and developers across the Southeast and other U.S. regions. Wilber joined Newmark from Cushman & Wakefield after earlier work at CBRE, Clark Ventures and Equifax.
Sherri Wilson joined investment firm Partners Real Estate as a partner in the firm’s Atlanta office. The company said Wilson will be part of its retail services team, focused on growth of its leasing and management portfolio. She brings more than 20 years of retail leasing experience, serving most recently as a senior vice president on JLL’s Atlanta retail team. She held earlier senior roles at Crossman & Co., Century Retail and Edens.
Colliers appointed John Heitmann as a senior vice president in its debt and structured finance practice. The company said Heitmann, based in Chicago, will focus on transactions for institutional and private investors as part of Colliers’ U.S. healthcare capital markets services. He brings more than 10 years of experience, including more than seven years focused on healthcare real estate. He joined Colliers from Northmarq Capital after earlier work at Cadence Capital Partners and Alpha Capital.
New York-based advisory firm A&G Real Estate Partners appointed Nicole Smith to the new position of head of marketing and communications. Smith brings more than 15 years of experience in advisory, technology and financial service organizations. She joined A&G from Puro.earth after earlier work at ICF International.
Atlanta-based multifamily development and investment firm Vista Residential Partners hired Alex Eyssen as senior managing director. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Eyssen will lead the company’s development operations in the Carolinas and other regions, the company said. He brings more than 20 years of multifamily and student housing development experience, joining Vista from Mill Creek Residential after prior roles at Bainbridge Cos. and Campus Crest.
Commercial facilities management firm ISS North America appointed global hospitality executive Bruno Loosli as vice president of East region operations for Guckenheimer, the company’s culinary division. Loosli, based in New York, will oversee food operations and related programming, ISS said. His 20-year career includes serving most recently as vice president of beverage for global airport lounges at Sodexo Group.
Design firm Kirksey Architecture promoted Jody Sergi to director of its practice focused on public education projects serving students in kindergarten through grade 12. Sergi is based in its Houston office, having joined the firm in 2012 as a project manager and associate before taking on varied leadership roles. She has more than 20 years of industry experience. Kirksey said the promotion is part of efforts to expand the company’s education-related business.
