Property consultancy Fisher German has expanded its commercial lease advisory team in London by hiring Sam Boothby as partner.
He joins from Strettons, where he was head of the lease advisory department since August 2024, specialising in commercial property.
Fisher German said the appointment strengthens its depth of expertise across the capital’s office and mixed-use markets, with the recruit working at Becket House on Old Jewry.
Boothby has extensive experience retail, leisure and food and beverage property sectors, having spent five years at CBRE, where he acted on behalf of institutional landlords including Hammerson, Landsec, Schroders Investment and British Land.
More recently he has specialised in the industrial and logistics market, where he said "investment activity is increasingly concentrated".
Boothby added: "The sector is undergoing rapid evolution, driven by continued development and changing building specifications, with demand for specific types of space shifting at an unprecedented pace.
"This has made the industrial and logistics sector a compelling area of focus, particularly for lease advisory."
Rupert Collis, head of commercial lease advisory at Fisher German, added: "This appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to investing in key practice areas and strengthening our market position in London."
