São Paulo hotel performance jumped for Design Week

ARLINGTON, Va. – 14 April 2026 – Boosted by Design Week, São Paulo’s hotel industry posted its highest March average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) on record, according to preliminary data from CoStar. CoStar is a leading global provider of commercial real estate data, analytics and news.

March 2026 (year-over-year % change): 

• Occupancy: 67.8% (+13.0%)
• ADR: BRL871.48 (+7.4%)
• RevPAR: BRL590.79 (+21.3%)

Design Week ran 5-15 March, and the market’s performance peaked across the metrics on Wednesday, 11 March: occupancy (88.9%), ADR (BRL 1,041.59) and RevPAR (BRL926.37).

Several additional events were hosted throughout the month, including Capacity LATAM, a telecommunications and infrastructure conference, the ST Alphe Brazil education and student-travel conference, and the WST Skateboarding World Championship. 

The WST championship drove ADR and RevPAR to BRL921.72 and BRL796.06, respectively, on its fourth night (Wednesday, 4 March). Occupancy reached 86.4% on the same night.
