Dan joined Hotel News Now in November 2015 as Associate Copy Editor, became Production Editor in June 2018 and was promoted to Senior Editor in August 2024.
He reads and edits daily copy submissions from both CoStar News staff and contributors, publishes articles and builds the CoStar Hotels Daily Update newsletter and specialty newsletters.
His first job was at the Ashland Times-Gazette, a six-day daily community newspaper in Ashland, Ohio, where he spent two years as a reporter and during his tenure switched between the local government and crime beats. Dan is a Cleveland native and a graduate of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
