Tony Wilbert is a regional editor at CoStar News. Based in Atlanta, Wilbert oversees CoStar's People newsletter and its Canada coverage and newsletter. His team includes the CoStar News' Washington, D.C., beat reporter and a Homes.com reporter in South Florida. Wilbert has covered commercial real estate as a staff writer for several newspapers including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Savannah Morning News and Atlanta Business Chronicle. He also served as editor-in-chief of National Real Estate Investor and helped Bisnow launch its Atlanta operation.
Wilbert left journalism in 2004 to pursue a career in public relations. During his 13 years away from journalism, Wilbert continued to cover real estate on his Skyline Views blog. In 2017, he returned to journalism as the Atlanta writer for CoStar News. He served as 2025 president of the board of the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) and will be chairman of the group in 2026.
