Are private sector accreditations the solution to boost government resources and speed up the planning process?

Trying to reconcile how the government will realise its promise to deliver 1.5 million homes in this parliament is a challenge when in reality more than half of all developments are waiting over a year for a decision thanks to long planning delays due to under-resourced local planning authorities.
