The leader of JLL Taiwan recently welcomed architects and educators from the United States to exchange ideas about the future of office buildings, but she had to travel across the globe to do so.
Kevin Hou, managing director of JLL Taiwan, hosted the meeting at the firm's offices in Taipei, and graduates of U.S. universities attended. The discussion centered on the importance of developing buildings that endure and have less of an impact on the environment.
"The group toured our office and exchanged insights on sustainable office design, smart buildings, and practical experience in the Taiwan market," JLL said in a LinkedIn post.
Professionals in attendance included Johnny Chiu, founder of Taipei-based JC. Architecture & Design; Jessy Yang, research manager, JLL Taiwan; Emily Huang, business development manager, work dynamics, JLL Taiwan; and Bozhen Fan Jiang, executive assistant, Kindom Development Co.
