UK chartered surveyors and property consultant Graham and Sibbald has recruited Adam Fotheringham as a director in its petroleum and roadside team in London, adding an experienced operator to the firm after more than a decade at CBRE.
Fotheringham has more than 12 years’ experience in the roadside sector, starting his career at CBRE as a graduate surveyor and working his way up to director. He covers roadside acquisitions, disposals, valuation and landlord and tenant.
Roadside covers properties like motor dealerships, car washes and tyre depots as well as trade counter retailers, drive-thru restaurants and similar uses.
The recruit has "worked with an extensive range of clients in the roadside sector", including oil companies, funds and independent operators.
Calum Campbell, Graham and Sibbald managing partner, said in a statement: "[Adam] will be a great asset to aid the growth of our petroleum and roadside department in England, as well as the expansion of our London office. I look forward to watching this service line go from strength to strength with the addition of Adam."
The company has also recruited Stuart Blyth as an associate in its business rates team, who joins its Edinburgh-based office from Lothian Valuation. Graham and Sibbald has 21 offices across the UK and more than 250 staff, including 30 partners.
