Nashville’s retail market put up another strong performance in 2019. Vacancies continued to sit around 3% and rent growth outperformed the national benchmark by a wide margin. While construction activity remains elevated, strong preleasing and a number of build-to-suit projects should limit the effect this new supply will have on occupancies and rent growth.
