Like other markets across the country, rent specials have gone up in recent months as the nation still works to contain the coronavirus. Seattle once had some of the strongest apartment rent growth in the country, but layoffs resulting from the pandemic, supply pressure and an overall relocation to the suburbs has some downtown apartment complexes feeling like ghost towns.
