Former Battersea Power Station Director Joins Mixed-Use Developer
Kevin Bundy has joined as a partner at MurrayTwohig Developments, a specialist mixed-use property developer in the UK working with Yoo Capital on the £1.3 billion makeover of the Olympia site in London, bring more than 20 years' of experience with him. Bundy, who was previously managing director for development at Soho House, has worked for market-leading organisations in both C-suite and senior management roles, according to his new employer. As head of the delivery of the power station phase, Bundy led on the restoration and redevelopment of the historic building, and will work alongside MurrayTwohig UK and Europe director, Honor Fishburn, who joined the firm more than two years ago.
JTRE Appoints Industry Heavyweight as Operations Director
Developer JTRE London has appointed industry heavyweight Seamus Porter as its operations director, with the company poised to move forward with more mixed-use projects in the capital. Porter will work on the recently acquired landmark 220 Blackfriars Road project, set to become "tallest and highest value scheme in the SE1 area", according to the company. Porter brings over 30 years of experience and joins from Hutchinson Property Group, where he was chief construction manager, leading the delivery of two large-scale residential schemes, Chelsea Waterfront and Convoys Wharf. He also worked at at ML Investments and Bennett Construction UK.
Muse Bolsters North West Team With Hires
UK property developer Muse has grown its team in the North West with three hires, adding decades of regeneration experience. Natalie Kennedy was hired as a senior project manager in October and has more than 17 years' experience helping to deliver nationally significant regeneration projects. Joel Chandler joins as senior development manager from Genr8 Developments and has 10 years’ experience. Sarah Chicken is the third addition. She comes in as development manager, having spent time at Knight Frank, Gerald Eve and Tritax Symmetry. Phil Marsden, managing director at Muse North West, said in a statement: “Their skills and insight will be critical as we deliver on our strong development pipeline."
Leader Behind Stockport Regeneration To Head Up GMCA

Caroline Simpson is set to lead Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Transport for Greater Manchester after she was named as the preferred candidate to take over as chief executive from Eamonn Boylan. Simpson is known for overseeing a major £1 billion redevelopment of Stockport town centre and led the borough’s development, regeneration, planning and transport agenda. She has been with the council for eight years, occupying the top job for the last two, and now moves to become chief executive of GMCA. She said: “Our city-region is now on the cusp of transformational change, and my priority is to catalyse the collaboration and the partnerships that are essential to driving that change."
Managed Workspace Operator Appoints Rivals' Co-Founder
London-focused managed workspace operator Frameworks has appointed Robin Lester, a co-founder of one of its rival firms, MetSpace, as its head of acquisitions. Frameworks describes Lester as having a "wealth of market experience and an unmatched track record" of delivering workspace through operating agreements. He was at the firm for five years, according to his LinkedIn profile. Max Jezierski, one of the co-founders of Frameworks, said: "Robin is among the very best deal-makers in the market, with a proven track record and deep understanding of what landlords expect from an operating partner. We knew it was essential to have someone of his calibre spearhead this next phase."
Godwin Promotes Three Experienced Development Directors

UK property firm Godwin Developments has promoted development directors Marcus Phayer, Simon Handslip and Simon Boreham to divisional managing directors. The trio will help to expand the company’s portfolio and market share in the industrial and logistics, commercial and residential sectors respectively. They will continue to be based out of Godwin’s two main offices in Birmingham and Mayfair in London. Stuart Pratt, co-founder and board member of Godwin Developments, said in a statement: “Creating a new tier of managing directors, with direct access to the board, will enable us to make faster and more effective decisions within the business."
City Law Firm Hires Partner to Expand Multi-Family Office Platform
London law firm Fladgate has added to its real estate and private capital advisory capabilities with the appointment of Simon Chadowitz as a partner, who joins from Mishcon de Reya, where he has spent 18 years. At his former employer he specialised in high-value commercial and residential property investments, large-scale mixed-use developments, hotels, shopping centres, private members clubs, restaurants and bars. Fladgate said Chadowitz will help to expand the firm’s existing expertise in advising clients on all aspects of real estate developments and investments.
