Developer JTRE London has appointed industry heavyweight Seamus Porter as its operations director, with the company poised to move forward with mixed-use projects in the capital.
Schemes that Porter will be involved with include the recently acquired landmark 220 Blackfriars Road project, which will create the "tallest and highest value scheme in the SE1 area", according to the company.
Porter brings over 30 years of experience and joins from Hutchinson Property Group, where he was chief construction manager, leading the delivery of two large-scale residential schemes, Chelsea Waterfront and Convoys Wharf.
He also worked at at ML Investments and Bennett Construction UK, having established his career in Ireland working with tier 1 contractors and prominent property developers. His appointment follows JTRE London's recruitment to its construction, design and technical divisions.
