Nick Robinson joined Colliers’ Jacksonville, Florida, retail team as a vice president and partner. Associate Vice President Jason Hurst and associate Damaris Arroyo also joined Colliers, as part of the Hurst Robinson Arroyo team that provides retail real estate advisory services to landlords, developers, investors and occupiers across North Florida and across the state, Colliers said.
Robinson brings over 15 years of experience to the position, with retail advisory, landlord and tenant representation, site selection, development and investment sales across Florida. He has advised retailers, developers, institutional property owners and private investors on transactions and real estate strategies throughout the state and works with clients from early market analysis and site selection as well as negotiations, due diligence, development and transaction execution. Robinson joined Colliers from Avison Young and has contributed to ICSC initiatives and was named to Ocala's 40 Under 40.
Henry Cassiday joined JLL as a senior director on the firm's Orange County, California, capital markets team. In this role, he will advise commercial real estate owners and investors on debt and equity capitalization strategies and focus on structuring and placing financial solutions across the capital stack, JLL said. He joined JLL from Borel Hill and has over 10 years of industry experience. JLL also said Cassiday will work with clients across the West Coast while using the firm’s national and global network to execute assignments.
Austin Levine rejoined Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. as a senior director in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida, office. Reporting to Marc Sznajderman, Levine brings nearly a decade of commercial real estate experience to Marcus & Millichap’s capital markets division, where, the firm said, he will focus on helping clients evaluate and execute financing strategies in support of their investment objectives. Levine, who began his career at MMCC as an associate director, rejoined the firm after having launched Hyman-Levi, a boutique financial consultancy firm.
Los Angeles-based Ascent Developer Solutions added John Richardson as chief credit officer. Based in the firm’s new Boston-area office, Richardson brings over two decades of experience in credit and underwriting, with focuses on multifamily housing and credit management processes such as screening, deal structuring, underwriting and risk management. He joined Ascent from Arbor Realty Trust and will support Ascent’s nationwide expansion, the firm said.
National real estate advisory and investment firm Redgate hired Jay Corbalis as a director. In his new role, he will serve as an adviser supporting clients across a wide range of redevelopment, infrastructure, transportation and public-sector initiatives, Redgate said. Corbalis joined the firm after having served at JBG Smith. He has over 12 years of commercial real estate and development experience.
Nashville, Tennessee’s, Southern Land Co. appointed Tony Marchbanks as national president of homebuilding. Based in the real estate developer’s Plano, Texas, office, he will lead the firm’s growing homebuilding program as it expands across the country, Southern Land said. Marchbanks joined the firm after serving 34 years at Highland Homes, including roles as president and chief operating officer.
