Global investment manager Realterm has hired Tamsin Layton as its head of investments for the UK, following stints at other top brokerage firms.
Layton will work closely with the firm’s business development team, driving investment initiatives in Europe. She will also be asked to move all aspects of transactions forward from initial identification to final delivery.
Layton brings around a decade of professional real estate experience, totalling more than £3 billion in transactions. She was most recently an associate partner on the European logistics capital markets team at Knight Frank.
During her time at that agency, she advised global capital on the sale and acquisition of industrial and logistics real estate across continental Europe. Prior to that, she spent nearly seven years at Cushman & Wakefield, advising on occupational and investment transactions in the industrial, retail and office sectors.
"Tamsin is a seasoned and versatile veteran of the London and European investment markets with an expansive skillset. We are confident she will serve the market and the company well,” said Jon Chalkley, Europe head of investments at Realterm. "Her expertise in logistics capital markets, and broader experience in the other sectors, make her the perfect choice to drive Realterm’s UK investment initiatives."
At Knight Frank Layton was also selected as a member of the KFX programme’s "People" board, which focuses on creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
