Florida's regional Interstate 4 corridor runs east-west through the state, connecting some of its fast-growing counties to major thoroughfares including I-95. Given the artery's prime accessibility, it comes as no surprise that the Atlanta-headquartered Seefried Industrial Properties selected Deltona, Florida, with prominence along I-4 as the site of I-4 Logistics Park—IPL, a burgeoning industrial hub.
Completed in 2023, the park's Building 100 already counts Amazon as a tenant — the distribution and technology giant took occupancy at the end of 2023. In addition to the property's 40-foot clear height, 190 docks and 185-foot truck court, Amazon also benefits from strategic access to the region's populous labor base and 10 million potential customers.
This combination of intentional siting and enviable features for industrial architecture helped the development merit a 2023 CoStar Impact Award, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
About the Project: Building 100 at I-4 Logistics Park—IPL sits at N. Normandy Blvd. and encompasses 984,960 square feet. The park encompasses about 130 acres, all told.
What the Judges Said: "The Amazon project in Deltona has added jobs, contributes to taxes, and created awareness for Deltona that will lead to interest from other national brands," noted Roxanne Ribakoff, president of One Daytona.
