Houston Works USA Acquires Prestigous Smith Street Office Building

A short seven-blocks from 1400 Smith St., former headquarters to notorious Enron, sits a quiet, two-story office building, now home to Houston Works USA. The site at 2118 Smith St., the 8,000-square-foot office building sold by the law firm of Pollicoff, Smith & Remels LLP for close to $1.74 million, is still ringing the cash register at a little more than $217 per square foot. The two-story concrete and steel building was built in 1980, and boasts more face-lifts than a Hollywood A-list.
