Fidelity Takes 'Swing Space' in American Express Plaza

Financial Services Firm Will Lease Providence Building for 3 Years Until New Building in Smithfield is Completed

Fidelity Investments agreed to lease the entire 115,830-square-foot building at 1 American Express Plaza in downtown Providence for a term of three years. The mutual fund company needed short-term space while awaiting delivery of its new 275,000-square-foot facility under construction in Smithfield scheduled for 2008.
