Property developer Karrev has formed an in-house property management team led by Louise Dean.
Karrev said Dean will be in charge of the team’s development and help to recruit staff as it looks to grow over the next 12 months.
Dean joined Karrev earlier this year as director of property management, coming from T&M Property Investments where she was a property manager.
Her career history also includes stints at CBRE, Landwood Group and Revolve Real Estate, according to her LinkedIn profile.
The launch of Karrev's own in-house team comes as it completed work at Manchester’s Sunlight House, a £35 million, office-led refurbishment project.
Dean said in a statement: "By bringing our property and development teams in-house, we can focus our attention where it matters most – our occupiers and our assets. Sunlight House has been a huge driver for this change.
"By keeping everything under one roof, we can respond faster, think smarter and deliver the level of service our occupiers expect."
Karrev has signed a handful of tenants at its flagship scheme in Manchester, including a government occupier, understood to be the Crown Prosecution Service.
Americana-style leisure operator Pins Social Club and Joe & The Juice have also signed for a combined 27,300 square feet of the retail and leisure accommodation.
Julien Buronfosse, managing director of Karrev, added: "Our shareholders take a long-term view, supporting both comprehensive refurbishment programmes – such as the transformation of Sunlight House - and the careful, ongoing management of our assets.
"This approach positions Karrev as an integrated real estate platform, managing the full lifecycle of high-quality, city-centre office buildings across the UK – from origination and refurbishment through to active asset management.
"Our portfolio currently comprises four assets, providing over 500,000 square feet of prime, lettable office space. With Louise leading this area of the business, we maintain the high standards of quality and service that define the experience of our tenants."
Karrev also appointed Benn Dickinson as director of leasing in October.
