JLL executive pursues Indiana industrial business
JLL appointed Megan Cuvelier as executive vice president in its Indianapolis office. The company said Cuvelier is part of the industrial team that focuses on national occupier services as part of its integrated portfolio services group. She worked most recently at Cushman & Wakefield, where she focused on global occupier strategy and local office brokerage.
Cuvelier has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience, starting her career in 2009 with JLL’s Indianapolis property management team. She has handled landlord and tenant representation, real estate portfolio management, site selection and related transaction functions.
Parkview Financial names new CFO
Parkview Financial named industry veteran Charlie O’Connell as chief financial officer, reporting to CEO Paul Rahimian in the firm’s Los Angeles office. The company said O’Connell will oversee financial strategy, capital management and long-term planning for the alternative investment firm specializing in U.S. commercial real estate credit.
O’Connell has more than 15 years of CFO experience, serving most recently in that position at DJM Capital Partners. He held earlier executive roles at Kinsale Capital Partners, among other firms, after beginning his finance career in investment banking.
Trion Properties looks to expand multifamily investments
Natalina Rettew joined Trion Properties as head of asset management as the Los Angeles-based company seeks to grow its investments in value-add multifamily properties. Rettew previously worked at LivCor, a Blackstone company, where she served most recently as senior director of asset management.
At LivCor, Rettew oversaw a $5 billion portfolio of multifamily and retail properties across California, Oregon, Washington and Colorado. She held earlier management and analyst roles at investment firms ColRich and MIG Real Estate.
Forum taps new managing partner

Forum Investment Group appointed Harry Alcock as managing partner and head of investments, the Denver-based firm said. Alcock is a 35-year industry veteran who served most recently as chief investment officer at UDR, a multifamily-focused real estate investment trust. Before that, he worked at AimCo, serving as executive vice president and chief investment officer.
Alcock has overseen $40 billion in real estate transactions and more than $1 billion in credit deployment. At Forum, he will oversee acquisitions, development, capital deployment and asset management strategy, the firm said.
Alcock serves on the executive committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Multifamily Green Council.
Berkadia targets student housing deals with director hire

Berkadia added Travis Prince as a senior managing director in Tampa, Florida. In his new role, Prince will focus on the real estate service firm’s nationwide student housing portfolio, Berkadia said.
Prince worked most recently at Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the student housing capital markets team.
The 27-year industry veteran has specialized in student housing for the past two decades, working with private and institutional owners and investors around the country.
Working with senior managing director Kevin Larimer, Prince will focus on acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio analysis, financing and joint-venture transactions, Berkadia said.
