Florida’s Gulf Coast markets of Tampa, Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers and Naples have all recorded positive employment growth so far this year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Essentially, every market in the region had rebounded to pre-pandemic employment levels by the end of 2021, about the time Florida was also seeing record-breaking levels of migration.
