When Georgia politicians were informed that their offer to give Amazon $2 billion in incentives, a dedicated subway car for deliveries, an exclusive airport lounge and streets renamed Alexa Way and Kindle Road failed to land any part of the online retailer's second headquarters, the elected officials and boosters didn't sulk. They instead thanked Amazon for the opportunity and vowed to find ways to expand the online retailer's presence in Georgia, where Amazon already employs 4,000 people.
