After testing its pop-up concept in 2024 in the Galeries Lafayette Paris-Haussmann flagship, Pop Mart is set to return to the boulevard of department stores in a big and prolonged way. According to our information, the Chinese retailer has signed to occupy a 1,400m2 sales area at 51-53, a beautiful Haussmann building that has been empty since the departure of the Benetton group in 2015, and which BNP Paribas REIM has since completely restructured after buying it out. There are still a number of conditions precedent to this move becoming definitive, but Pop Mart obtained its commercial authorization from the City of Paris last May.
