REIT Purchases $100.55 Million Portfolio

US Industrial REIT of San Antonio, an affiliate of USAA Real Estate Co., purchased over 3 million square feet of industrial space in Columbus, OH. The purchase was a result of a $100.55 million portfolio sale from Columbus real estate developer, Pizzuti Companies, and National Realty Investors, a real estate investment and development affiliate of Nationwide Insurance. The industrial portfolio was comprised of eight properties located in the Franklin County area. These properties include, five in Grove City, two in the Rickenbacker Air Industrial Park, and a 766,795-square-foot warehouse in Obetz, OH. USAA Real Estate Co., an affiliate of insurer United Services Automobile Association, is headquartered out of San Antonio, TX with offices throughout the U.S. and Europe.
