Savills said it's bolstered its services in the Detroit region with the hiring of Michael Bennett as corporate managing director and Addison Williams as managing director of capital markets. Bennett joined Savills from Colliers, where he served as executive vice president and led strategic partner assignments for General Motors across North America.
Bennett’s 40-year career includes prior work at Corvus International, Trammell Crow Co. and Farbman Group. Williams brings eight years of investment sales experience, all with CBRE. At CBRE, he was a member of its net lease property group, representing private and institutional clients across multiple property categories.
Financial services provider Hilco Global hired Lauren Leach as senior director of its receivership advisory practice focused on fiduciary services. The Northbrook, Illinois-based subsidiary of Orix Corp. said Leach will also support new business development, as the company looks to meet rising demand for fiduciary and court-appointed property receivership services. She previously served as managing director in the real estate advisory practice of KPMG.
JLL hired Johnny Rocco as vice president of project development services, based in the firm’s office in Nashville, Tennessee. The company said Rocco, who has more than 15 years of experience, will help JLL expand its project development practice across Tennessee and other Southeast regions. He joined JLL from Bell Construction, where he served as senior project manager.
Global asset management firm PGIM appointed Charlotte Taylor and Ed Rieger to senior business development roles in its institutional client group. The Newark, New Jersey-based company said Taylor is managing director and head of its East region services; she previously served as head of East region and Canada institutional sales at DWS Group. Rieger, executive director, will consult PGIM’s private real estate clients, after holding prior roles at Heitman and Cohen & Steers.
Jason Huang joined real estate investment firm Bolour Associates as associate director of debt originations. The Beverly Hills, California-based company said Huang will handle loan sourcing and related services, working with brokers, borrowers and internal teams as part of Bolour’s nationwide lending activities. He previously served as vice president of underwriting at Onyx Funding.
Hoar Construction and its parent firm, Hoar Holdings, said it appointed Turner Burton as CEO. He succeeds Rob Burton, who transitioned to executive chairman after serving since 2001 as CEO of the Birmingham, Alabama-based company. Turner Burton was named president in 2018 after a holding series of leadership roles. Hoar Construction also announced the hiring of Synjyn Dodd as director of healthcare in its Austin office, focused on Texas projects.
Miami-based commercial property finance provider Madison Capital Group hired Roberto Perea as managing director of its capital markets practice. Perea brings 23 years of experience, most recently at 710 Capital. Before that, he worked at international investment banking firm FinanceMiami, City National Bank and other firms.
Long Beach, California-based architecture firm RDC said it named Yu Wang D’Arcy as retail design director in its store planning work group. D’Arcy has more than 10 years of experience, having previously worked at Montalba Architects and the design group of luxury retailer LVMH.
