CBRE expands Phoenix team; Lincoln adds seven executives from Savills; HGA appoints technology chief
CBRE expanded its Phoenix brokerage team with the addition of Mark Gustin as an executive vice president, Jimmy Cornish as a first vice president and Emily Minnier as an associate. The brokers have over four decades of combined experience, specializing in office, flex and life science transactions. All three worked most recently at JLL.
Gustin previously held leadership positions that included serving as a managing director at JLL and senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. Before that, he worked at Trammell Crow Co. Cornish served in prior roles at JLL, CBRE and Lee & Associates, and Minnier worked at JLL and Pinnacle Design.
Lincoln Property added a seven-member team of executives from Savills, as Lincoln expands its national corporate advisory and solutions practice in cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Houston. The Dallas-based company said the team is co-led by industry veterans and former Savills Vice Chairmen Corey Davidson and David DiPietro, who now serve as executive vice presidents at Lincoln. The new hires also include executive vice presidents Joshua Meltzer and Liron Nelik, senior vice presidents Doug Fine and Ian Zilla and vice president Jen Fan.
Architecture and design firm HGA appointed Meredith Hayes Gordon as science and technology market sector leader. Based in Minneapolis, Gordon has more than 20 years of experience and joined HGA in 2015. The firm said she will lead a national team of planners, designers and architects.
New hires, promotions and other personnel changes
 
Alpharetta, Georgia-based Trilogy Investment Co. appointed Chris Poston as senior vice president of asset management. Poston brings more than 12 years of industry experience, serving most recently as executive vice president of asset and property management at Wrightwell after prior work at Starwood Capital, Rothesay Life and Sylvan Road Capital.
Rose Community Capital, a Jonathan Rose Cos. affiliate focused on placement of Federal Housing Administration-insured multifamily mortgages, appointed Alex Holverson as managing director and senior loan originator, based in New York. Holverson worked most recently as acquisitions and development officer at Dawson Holdings, a West Coast-based developer of subsidized housing, among other roles in a 10-year career.
Atlanta-based general contractor Chapco Design Build, a division of Jim Chapman Construction Group, hired Alex Hill as project manager. Hill previously held project management positions at Malone Construction, Hannan Construction and Integrity Construction Management.
 
Partner Valuation Advisors said it added William Picoli as senior vice president, based in New York. Picoli, a 35-year industry veteran, previously worked in project advisory roles at Avison Young, Newmark, Columbia University, the New York City Development Corp. and the city’s Health and Hospitals Corp.
Blueprint Commercial, a woman-owned commercial real estate brokerage based in Philadelphia, hired Cathy Coate as executive vice president and senior adviser. Coate worked most recently at SSH Real Estate and Colliers. She was joined at Blueprint by new principals Ben Elderkin, previously with TWYN Real Estate and Avison Young, and Michael Kahan, formerly of Colliers.
General contracting firm Thirdline Construction launched in Atlanta, led by co-founder and President Frank Fotia, a 20-year industry veteran. Fotia held prior executive roles at firms including Leaply Construction Group and Balfour Beatty.
