LaSalle Promotes Arhuis-Grumbach to Head of UK and Europe Transactions
LaSalle Investment Management, the global real estate investment manager, has promoted Alexandre Arhuis-Grumbach to head of transactions Europe core and core-plus strategies. The firm said Arhuis-Grumbach will oversee all transactions across LaSalle’s core and core-plus commingled funds in the newly created role, including the firm’s flagship Encore+ fund, and custom accounts in Europe. It means the core and core-plus transactions teams across the UK and continental Europe will report into Arhuis-Grumbach, who will in turn report to LaSalle’s Head of Europe, Philip La Pierre.
Arhuis-Grumbach is promoted from his previous role of head of Encore+ transactions, having started at LaSalle more than 13 years ago. He joined the firm as a financial analyst on a pan-European value-add fund, before becoming an acquisitions manager in France. La Pierre, head of Europe at LaSalle, said: "Alexandre’s newly created role will help drive core and core-plus transactions as the market continues its recovery from the macroeconomic headwinds it has faced."
Infinium Logistics Hires Amazon Developer in EV Charging Push
Former Amazon manager Cheryl Perry is joining Infinium Logistics, the European asset management and energy transition specialist, to assist with the development of its electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Joining as senior development manager, Perry spent around three years at the e-commerce giant, where she was responsible for developing its electric vehicle off-site van storage solutions across the UK and Ireland. She also managed other construction projects in her time with Amazon, and has held project roles in both local and national government in the UK. Infinium's recruit has around 20 years’ project management experience and is "renowned for her dynamic leadership and ability to navigate complex business transformations", it said.
Global Fund Manager Henderson Park Recruits US-Based Managing Director
Henderson Park, the private real estate investment fund manager, has appointed Bob Lee as a managing director and global general counsel. He will oversee all legal, regulatory and compliance matters globally, as well as sitting on the firm's investment and executive committees. Lee arrives from international law firm Jones Day after almost 30 years as a partner, spending the last 18 years as global co-chair of real estate. He has been involved in more than $25 billion of real estate portfolio transactions and real estate company and investment trust mergers and acquisitions in the United States, UK, Europe and Asia. Lee will be based in the US.
New Life Sciences Lead Joins JLL's Property Asset Management Business

Suketu Shah is starting his new role as JLL's head of life sciences in its property asset management business, bringing a track record of 14 years in the sector working across multiple properties. Shah was previously a director at life sciences workspace provider Pioneer Group in Nottingham, increasing occupancy levels by over 85% in his three years there. JLL described Shah as having been instrumental in expanding companies both nationally and internationally and said his experience will position the brokerage to strengthen its life science portfolio.
Colin Curnow, property and asset management head of consulting at JLL, said in a statement: " [Suketu's] strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and extensive experience in the life sciences sector make him the ideal candidate to lead our life sciences property management initiatives."
Realterm Expands London Investment Team Taking Knight Frank Recruit

Global investment manager Realterm has hired Tamsin Layton as its head of investments for the UK, following stints at a number of top brokerage firms. Realterm says Layton will work closely with its business development team, driving investment initiatives in Europe. She will also be asked to move all aspects of transactions forward from initial identification to final delivery and was previously employed at Knight Frank as an associate partner on the European logistics capital markets team.
Also working for Cushman & Wakefield for around seven years, she brings a decade of professional real estate experience, totalling more than £3 billion in transactions. Layton was a selected as a member of the KFX programme’s "People" board at her last employer.
Cushman & Wakefield Hires Partner To Lead South West Industrial Team

Brokerage Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Henry de Teissier as a partner in its UK logistics and industrial team, starting at the end of this month. De Teissier has spent the last six years working in JLL's Bristol team and will lead the South West logistics and industrial unit at his new firm, providing strategic advice to the firm’s investor and occupier clients across the region.
He has been appointed along with Christopher Robinson, recently joined as a partner in its UK logistics and industrial capital markets team, to support the company's growth in this area. The team now is made up of eight members and offers leasing, capital markets, occupier services, project and development, valuation and consulting services. In August 2022, Cushman & Wakefield acquired specialist industrial consultancy Burbage Realty Partners.
JLL Expands North West Industrial and Logistics Team

Joe Bostock has bolstered JLL's North West industrial and logistics team by taking up the role of associate with the firm. Bostock joins from Manchester-based commercial property consultancy WT Gunson, where he specialised in the disposal of freeholds and leaseholds as well as rent reviews, lease renewals, and valuation work. JLL said that Bostock's arrival will help to expand and service the team's instruction base, working closely with developers, property companies, corporate and institutional clients on lettings, freehold sales and acquisitions. It also means the firm's North West industrial and logistics team is boosted to five members.
