U.S. Customs Expands at Shoreline Square

$8 Million Deal Signed in Long Beach

The U.S. Customs Service has expanded its 20-year lease at Shoreline Square, a Class-A office building located at 301 East Ocean Blvd. in downtown Long Beach, CA. In May of this year, U.S Customs signed a $65 million deal at Shoreline Square with options for further expansion. The new 12,538-square-foot expansion covers the 2nd floor and has been valued at $8 million. Currently U.S Customs occupies approximately 93,000 square feet, and with the expansion, a total of 105,538 square feet. Shoreline Square is a 21-story, 383,287-square-foot office building that offers panoramic views of the ocean that sweep from Palos Verdes to Laguna Beach and out to Catalina Island. Beth Sydow represented building owner TrizecHahn Office Properties in-house. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the federal government's real estate agency, represented the tenant.
