Federal Realty Investment Trust said it named Jeff Kreshek as executive vice president as the company seeks to expand its West Coast retail property portfolio. Based in El Segundo, California, near Los Angeles, he also serves as Western region president and chief operating officer.
Kreshek joined the Bethesda, Maryland-based real estate investment trust in 2011 to spearhead West Coast leasing and was promoted to senior vice president in 2016. He oversees a portfolio that includes 8 million square feet of retail centers in California and Arizona. Kreshek held earlier roles at CIM Group and University of Southern California.
Transwestern Real Estate Services promoted Emily Sircy to managing senior vice president of asset services, based in its Atlanta office. Sircy succeeds Russell Lipscomb, who plans to retire at the end of March. The company said Sircy will lead property management, engineering and accounting teams overseeing a 17 million-square-foot portfolio of office, industrial and healthcare properties. She joined Transwestern in 2010 after holding earlier roles at Hines and Taylor & Mathis.
In Minneapolis, Transwestern said it promoted Jim Montez and Kevin Salmen to senior vice president as part of an ongoing service expansion in the region. The company said Montez is focused on agency leasing, and Salmen on tenant advisory and workplace services. Each previously served as a vice president at Transwestern. Montez worked earlier at Cushman & Wakefield, and Salmen held prior roles at JLL.
Travis Carson joined SRS Real Estate Partners as a principal in Newport Beach as the firm aims to broaden industrial-focused services in Southern California. Carson, who has 20 years of industry experience, will lead business strategy, talent recruiting and related operations. Before that, he worked at firms including Vasana, Ironman Ventures and Market Force Global, serving clients including commercial brokerages.
Global investment firm Harrison Street Asset Management hired Mark Heavey as vice president of development and investments on its digital team. The Chicago-based company said Heavey will oversee deal sourcing, pipeline management and related operations for its digital investments such as data centers. His decade of experience in data and digital infrastructure includes prior work at Digital Realty and GC Infra.
Reno, Nevada-based Dermody said it hired Mark Lewis as senior vice president of development for its Southern California region, where he will oversee design, entitlements and related construction activities. Lewis is based in the Irvine, California, office of Dermody, a private equity investment management firm that focuses on logistics real estate. Lewis joined the company from Panattoni Development, where he served as senior development manager.
Development and investment firm Trammell Crow Co. appointed Megan Kranichfeld as its market leader in Denver. The company said Kranichfeld will oversee daily operations such as development and investment for Trammell and its High Street Residential subsidiary. Her duties will span several states in the Rocky Mountain region. Kranichfeld previously led industrial efforts in Colorado for Dallas-based Trammell Crow. Before that, she worked at Prime West and United Properties.
Atlanta-based commercial real estate services firm Ackerman & Co. said Craig Taylor was named senior vice president at its Ackerman Retail division. Taylor brings more than 25 years of investment sales experience, including a long tenure at CBRE.
Max Benjamin Partners, a Beverly Hills, California-based real estate investment bank serving developers and investors, said it hired Zach Novatt as director of its office in Calabasas, near Los Angeles, where he will focus on West Coast transactions. Novatt, who has 15 years of real estate investment experience, held earlier roles at firms including Calmwater Capital, GR Properties and Canyon Partners.
