Can the sale of the BHV premises be called into question?

On June 17, Business Immo revealed that Société des grands magasins (SGM) and Banque des Territoires had entered into "exclusive negotiations" to acquire the premises of BHV Marais, still owned by the Galeries Lafayette group. A transaction subject to the arrangement of additional bank financing, at the end of which Frédéric Merlin's SGM would retain a majority stake, the partners said at the time, anticipating a closing "in the middle of autumn".
