Sublet Space Availability Rises Again in Charlotte

Despite strong job growth and continued migration to the Carolinas' largest city, the future of Charlotte's office market remains in flux. On one hand, net absorption has remained positive over the past year and employment growth has been above pre-pandemic trends. The Charlotte area has added more than 43,000 new jobs since February 2020, half of them in traditional office-using sectors such as financial activities, professional services and information technology.
