Cushman & Wakefield makes change at top in EMEA
Matthew Bouw is stepping into the role of chief executive for Asia-Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Cushman & Wakefield as long-term chief and leading UK real estate adviser Colin Wilson steps down. Bouw will oversee a single operating model across the regions, a shift that Cushman said will ensure the "scale and balance of services to drive growth and offer clients better global connectivity and access" to talent. Bouw, who takes up his new role at the start of next month, has led the APAC region as chief executive since 2017. During his 13 years with Cushman, he has also held global executive positions based in the Chicago office.
Patron Capital hires partner from CBRE
Patron Capital has hired Henry Randolph as partner as it moves into real estate credit in Europe. Randolph joins from CBRE, where he was a senior director in the capital advisers’ lending platform, originating, underwriting and executing senior real estate investment and development loan facilities. He also worked at Barclays in its property debt finance team and has 15 years' experience. He will work with Patron’s senior leadership team to develop the real estate credit business. "The granular approach the business takes to asset underwriting and its hugely successful long-term track record are a fantastic base from which to build a credit-focused business," he said.
DTRE promotes 10
Hannah Davies has been named partner in a flurry of promotions at commercial property agency DTRE. Others promoted include Andrew Lynn, who was made equity partner, and Charlie Thompson, who became associate partner, investment analytics. Ollie Withers was named associate partner, while Joey Higham was handed the role of senior surveyor. Flo Weston and Joe Dowley become surveyors, Jamie Poole data manager and Bex Smith compliance officer. Tess Freeman also steps up to senior business executive. DTRE, founded in 2010 and employing 51 staff in total, said the promotions "recognise the hard work and dedication of its team".
Knight Frank forms new UK board

Julia Hayhoe has been appointed non-executive adviser at Knight Frank as part of a shake-up of its UK board, bringing 25 years of international board experience. The firm said the board, led by UK managing partner and chair Stephen Clifton, has been created to "shape and drive Knight Frank’s long-term strategy and structure in its home market".
Hayhoe added: "My focus will be on championing opportunities to enable strategic growth harnessing the entrepreneurial culture and optimise, simplify and ensure efficiency across the UK operations, ensuring the business is well-positioned to seize opportunities and address challenges in the years ahead."
Graham + Sibbald promotes associate

Graham + Sibbald, the chartered surveyor and property consultant, has promoted Zak Los to associate. Los joined the business in April 2023 and works across the commercial agency and valuation teams in London.
The company, which promoted 18 across the UK earlier this month, described the recruit as eager to grow the brand in London and "enthusiastic about servicing existing clients and fostering new client relationships moving forward". His focus is commercial agency, providing lettings, sales and acquisitions on behalf of clients, focusing mainly on retail, office and land transactions. He is also experienced in the property asset management of investment portfolios.
Davis Coffer Lyons expands valuations department

Alice McCusker has joined Davis Coffer Lyons' valuations team from Cushman & Wakefield as the firm secured new offices. McCusker has specialised in care assets for several years, with DCL’s executive director of valuations, Jonathan Wall, saying the business was "very selective in who we wanted to join our team". He added: "Alice shone as the most appropriate candidate and we are thrilled to welcome her on board. Her experience and knowledge in the sector, coupled with her unquestionable technical ability and approach, will ensure she is a great asset to our busy valuation team and significant care valuation work." DCL's new offices are at 9-10 Market Place in Oxford Circus.
Goodman partners with charity in London
Global development giant Goodman and the Construction Youth Trust have formed a partnership to develop a community hub to help young people reach their full career potential. The three-year collaboration between the Goodman Foundation and the trust will help people in Haringey, North London, find careers in construction by providing them with the "confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed". Goodman UK managing director, Charles Crossland, said in a statement: "Through our partnership, we look forward to investing in Haringey’s future workforce and providing the skills that can enable regeneration and deliver essential infrastructure to support economic growth."
