Property developer Karrev has appointed Benn Dickinson as director of leasing.
The hire comes as the firm prepares for the practical completion of Sunlight House after a £35 million refurbishment project to provide Grade A offices at the 1930s building, part of which is reportedly prelet to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Karrev added that the hire "underscores the [its] commitment to delivering a best-in-class tenant journey", with Dickinson bringing extensive experience in commercial leasing and occupier strategy.
He also has a proven track record of securing high-quality tenants across flagship schemes, having worked in commercial property since 2016. Dickinson's career began on lettings teams in both Manchester and the South East.
Most recently Dickinson worked with Orbit Developments as a project director, leading the delivery of upgraded and refurbished workspaces. At Karrev, he will lead leasing strategy across the portfolio, including Sunlight House and Dalton Place in Manchester, Amber House in Leeds as well as Martin’s Bank Building in Liverpool.
He will also support the design and asset management team for the next big refurbishment project to be carried out on Martin's Bank in Liverpool, the firm added.
Karrev managing director Julien Buronfosse said in a statement: "Benn’s appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for Sunlight House and our portfolio.
"His expertise and vision will be vital in shaping the next generation of leasing across our portfolio, ensuring that our spaces are not only filled with great businesses, but also supported by industry-leading tenant experience."
